I'm a little bit late now with blog but I have made my goals on paper. So right now I'm in hospital (mental health unit) to doing my practise.
Here are my learning goals for second placement:
*Learn language
*To deal my confusing attitudes
*Get own individual and explore for her/him (illness, background etc.)
*Learn daily habits and to work independently
*Learn more about mental diseases and know symptoms
I have not so large goals 'cause I will stay my placement only two weeks, three days in week.

VastaaPoistaI quickly comment your learning goals: they are ok and please discuss with your mentor, what kind of learning she/he thinks you could receive particularly in your third named goal (Get own individual and explore for her/him). What are the nurse-special knowledge and skills related to the goal?
I would also like you to answer questions I made in this blog. Furthermore, please write about interventions you have seen important/helpful for these patients in acute ward settings. This way you will easilly fin out about the essential content of nursing practice.
Have you had tutoring/mentoring from the local University so far?
